Incisal Edge dental lifestyle magazine to honor 40 Under 40, America’s Best Young Dentists, during a celebration at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi in Chelsea
PITTSTON, PA — May 29, 2018 — Three days, four educational panels, one amazing event. From May 30 through June 1, dental professionals and students from across the country will convene in New York City to participate in the inaugural Next Gen Summit, hosted by Incisal Edge magazine and Benco Dental and led by keynote speaker, Forbes Media Chief Content Officer, Randall Lane.
Lane, who co-founded and served as Editor-in-Chief of a half dozen magazines and related websites, including P.O.V, Trader Monthly and Dealmaker, sits on the boards of directors of Global Citizen and Just Capital, chairs the advisory board of Last Mile Health, and also serves on the Board of Overseers of Columbia’s School of Professional Studies.

At the heart of the event: a Day of Smiles Giveback community giveback, during which volunteers in attendance at the Next Gen Summit will present Lessons in a Lunchbox to 2nd and 3rd grade students a PS125, The Ralph Bunche School. More than 20 years ago, Dr. Winifred J. Booker, CEO of the?Children’s Oral Health Institute developed the Lessons in a Lunchbox program around an ingeniously crafted carrying case, designed to teach elementary school children the importance of dental hygiene.
“Lessons in a Lunchbox teaches the child independence; therefore it provides her or him the ability to brush and floss using the dental kit, the carrot case, and the lunchbox,” Dr. Booker said.
