Shrinking the cost and complexity of digital dentistry means putting customers in the driver's seat.

The concept of choice is more complex than ever. Outside dentistry, an increasing number of manufacturers are throwing their weight behind closed systems that are harder for users to update, upgrade and even repair. We've done the opposite: leading dentistry's charge toward open solutions. 'Open' puts the power to decide in the hands of dentists, where it belongs, so the strongest products succeed and pave the way for future improvements.

In 2023, we guided over 7,500 customers through a revolutionary journey.

We're helping users navigate that ever-changing pathway from analog to digital.

What a difference a year makes. In 2023, Benco Dental customers purchased 26% more scanners than in 2022. Even more interesting is how they're using those scans: 3D printer sales increased by 71% over the same period, while the number of CAD/CAM mills fell by 14%—an indication that some dentists are either starting with, or migrating to, 3D printing as the technology matures and materials improve.

With so many changes happening so quickly, it's more important than ever for us to help dentists make the smartest choices for their practices.

What used to take multiple appointments for patients can now be condensed into a single visit, maximizing efficiency and patient satisfaction through constant evolution.
• We don't wait for innovative products to find us, we go out and find them. From CAD/CAM equipment, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) systems, and 3D printers to advanced design software and managed support, we make evolution easy and accessible for every practice, of any size.

In addition to helping dentists along their journey with digital dentistry, we introduced several significant innovations in 2023.

Delivering innovation requires an imaginative approach to finding and retaining the best people, so that's what we do.

We've been family owned and operated for nearly a century, and the importance of maintaining real, human connection is still at the heart of what we do. We know every customer by name, and our senior leaders visit almost 1,000 dental offices yearly to keep it that way.

Retaining the best associates is what's driving these awards.

Our associate turnover has decreased for three consecutive years, and 87% of our associates rated Benco a “great place to work” in this year's survey—another indication that the best people want to do their best work at Benco.

We believe moving forward includes a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This year, Benco sponsored and attended the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania (CAAP) 2023 DEI Summit. Also, we started a partnership with NEPA Inclusive and began sponsoring their shop Coffee Inclusive. NEPA Inclusive was founded on the idea that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities should be able to work and live inclusively in the community the same way anyone else does. We have also extended our family leave benefits to provide associates more time at home, when they most need it.
