Re: Vendor Policy

At Benco Dental, we are proud to represent the products of many manufacturers. At certain times, Benco management may pay bonus commissions or spiffs on selected products; however, it has always been our policy to support all our manufacturers regardless of sales, marketing or distribution issues.

At Benco, we pledge to support our vendors as follows:

  • Benco will service and pay a sales commission on any
    product for which we are an authorized distributor. By "service,” we mean:
    • install new equipment and repair existing equipment;
    • carry a reasonable inventory of replacement parts;
    • provide warranty service according to manufacturer specifications;
    • train service technicians, sales representatives, designers and inside support personnel on the product line.

  • Benco will always accept an order for a product we sell when the manufacturer has created the order, or the customer has selected the product.

Likewise, we expect the following support from all of our vendors:

  • Vendors will provide a reasonable level of service regardless of our purchase levels. By “service,” we mean:
    • delivery;
    • technical and marketing support;
    • access to marketing/sales promotions and programs;
    • fair pricing and returns policy;
    • on-site customer support as needed;
    • indemnity for product liability;
    • respect in all interactions.
  • Vendors will not refer Benco customers to competing distributors, nor will vendors discuss the nature of their distributor relationships with Benco customers.
