MULTIPLE SPECIALTIES. ONE INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM.

The cornerstones of the SEATTLE STUDY CLUB, the nation’s foremost network of dental study clubs, are two ideals: colleague-based learning and interdisciplinary treatment planning. Members meet regularly to study cutting-edge dental technology and techniques, and improve their case management skills.

With more than 230 clubs across the United States, SSC has grown rapidly thanks to a unique approach to dental education: members learn from their peers, exchange ideas, ask for advice and share best practices in an open and trusting environment. Meetings feature lectures, case-study discussions and hands-on experiences.

“SSC members are also invited to attend the group’s annual Symposium, an incredible week-long education program that’s intellectually stimulating and personally fulfilling. Join a university without walls … or boundaries.”

SSC clubs provide a curriculum that encourages clinical and non-clinical excellence in a learning environment that is small, secure and highly interactive. Implementation of this knowledge is the key to realizing the tremendous potential that exists in all of our practices. Surrounding myself with awesome mentorsin this interdisciplinary environment has had an enormously positive impact on my life, both professionally as well as personally.”

BY JOINING SEATTLE STUDY CLUB, MEMBERS WILL:

  • Embrace interdisciplinary treatment planning as the key to delivering top-notch comprehensive care.
  • Learn from experienced, knowledgeable peers.
  • Exchange ideas with thousands of dentists nationwide — and freely seek advice from colleagues.
  • Share best practices in an open, trusting environment.

THE SEATTLE STUDY CLUB has been conceived to function as a ‘university without walls’ for its members. It provides all of the resources that are available in a university setting. Although lectures are an important part of the program, the power of the study club comes in the ability to draw on the greatest resource available — each other. Specialists and general practitioners in each club pool their knowledge and experience in a collaborative setting, with the patient as the beneficiary.”
